I had this same issue on an Asus P8H77-I based PC connecting a Denon AVR2809 via hdmi. The Intel Graphics drivers were updated to the latest version as per yesterday. Disabling exclusive mode as mentioned fixed the issue and the Netflix metro app now plays Dolby surround sound without stutter.
