Hi - thanks for your reply
The reason I asked the question is that Intel's own pages specifically say that "Crucial* CT8G3S160BM 8 GB 1600 MHz" is compatible with my Intel NUC5i5RYH on this page: http://www.intel.com/support/motherboards/desktop/sb/CS-034982.htm
"This applies to:
Intel® NUC Kit NUC5i3RYH
Intel® NUC Kit NUC5i3RYK
Intel® NUC Kit NUC5i5RYH
Intel® NUC Kit NUC5i5RYK"
but Crucial says it isn't.
There is always a risk using untested memory
Doesn't the URL above say that the CT8G3S160BM sticks have been tested by Intel though?
I looked at section 1.4 of page19 of the PDF you linked, but it doesn't give examples of working part numbers to choose.
I want to make sure I've got the right memory before opening up the package
Thanks again for the reply, much appreciated
