I have recently added a few eGPUs we tested to our compatibility list.
Trying to figure out the Core issue. Which version of the Core do you have? Version 1 or Version 2?

I got a NUC8iHVK so I could do some more involved graphic processing. I tried to install a program (BlueSkyPlan) and it said I didn't have OpenGL 3.0 support and that it was required to run the software. I tried to update the drivers but was told they were the most up to date. I then got the Intel system scan software and this is what it showed.
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 Pro(10.0.17134 Build 17134)
Physical Memory (Installed): 16 GB
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8809G CPU @ 3.10GHz
System Type: x64-based PC
Total Installed Updates: 22 Updates - See Detailed View for more information
Display Adapter(s): Intel(R) HD Graphics 630 23.20.16.4973
Microsoft Basic Display Adapter 10.0.17134.1
System Manufacturer: Intel Corporation
System Model: NUC8i7HVB
Network Adapter(s): Bluetooth Device (Personal Area Network) 10.0.17134.1
Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 8265 20.50.0.4
Intel(R) Ethernet Connection (2) I219-LM 12.15.22.6
Intel(R) I210 Gigabit Network Connection 12.15.22.6
Disk(s): Brother MFC-J985DW USB Device 0.0 bytes (available) 10.0.17134.1
Generic SU32G SD Card 29.64 GB (available) 10.0.17134.1
WDC WDS500G2B0B-00YS70 399.18 GB (available) 10.0.17134.1
As far as I know the 8809g processor only comes with the HVK model but the scan utility shows my system as an HVB model and there are no radeon graphics. Did I somehow get the wrong system in the correct box or is there something that needs to be done to activate the radeon graphics?
Thanks,
Brian
You can try the one SimplyNUC used here:

For me, it qualifies as an extreme case.
Installing (or reinstalling) the latest BIOS via the BIOS Recovery method can ensure that any possible side-effects of previous BIOS releases are eliminated and that installation issues (or failures) are overcome (especially with respect to secondary firmware (for the Management Engine and other microcontrollers included in the design) present in the .BIO capsule files).
While I always recommend this method, I do not think that, in this case, it will do any good. Still, it is worth a try - and you won't hurting anything by doing so. If you do this, remember to reset the BIOS Configuration to defaults as part of this process. I also recommend changing the configuration settings as little as possible (i.e. only as necessary for booting per your hardware configuration).
Hope this helps,

Hi Fred, et al.
Between the first post and the one just before this, I upgraded to 0049.
Testing Steps 1
Connections
NUC8i7HVK (Home PC)
The UA Audio Interface USB-C Back - Port A
The DELL U3818DW - USB-C Back - Port B
DELL Inspiron (Work PC)
The DELL U3818DW - Display Port
Using the monitor's KVM, switching back and forth and PBP between Home and Work PC every 2 hours or more. No issues.
Testing Steps 2
Reversed the USB-C connections between monitor and the Audio Interface : no issues testing
Also of note: the USB-C bus is not resetting. Meaning, when I used to switch from work PC to home PC, the USB-C ports would reset the UA bus powered device, and other USB ports would reset.
That problem is no longer presenting. BIOS settings are default.
Consider it closed. Thanks!
Ah, this is a different issue than what I thought previously ...
This phenomena has been reported against multiple NUC models and appears to be even more prevalent when the O / S is Linux. I am inclined to think about the ACPI table.
What BIOS version are you running? If there are newer BIOS version (s) available, could you please install the latest version

Hello jerryn,
In order to provide more information about these issues, we will do further research. We will get back to you soon.

I have a NUC7i7BN kit with latest availabre drivers, tbt firmware and BIOS. But I cannot communicate with an UAD 2 satellite equipment. Is there any particular parameter on BIOS to be configured ?
Obviously I have an startech TBT3TBTadap adapter.
I have checked everyting with a Mac and works OK. Universal audio tested specifically NUC7i7BN and startech adapter and say functions OK.
Has somebody hada this problem ??
Thanks.
Hello claudio.saporiti.musica
I don't have a UAD Satellite, but I have an UAD Arrow.
But I had similar issues connecting to the Arrow until I installed the TB3 tool.

I know you said you had the latest drivers, but I wonder if you have the latest thunderbolt firmware?

When you run the tool, do you see the UAD Satellite connected?
Using Device manager I see UAD connected

Hello, JamesDe. Thank you very much for sharing your issue with the Intel Communities Team. I will be more than glad to assist you.
There is a newer driver version for your graphics controller. Let us try the following:
In addition, please share with me the model of your display and which type of cable you are using to achieve the connection. Then, please share with me an Intel® HD Graphics report. Finally, which is the version of chrome you are currently using?
Antony S.
Yup, you're not using the correctly rated cable between your NUC and the Satellite.
Please see section 1.8

Hello, Amy!
Thank a lot for fast answer!
Regards,
D.M.
I have red UAD recommendations you attached before buying all components of the system.
I bought the recommended Startech adapter. Thunderbolt cables are normally 20 Gbps ( I havent seen of 40GBPS ). I thought the adapter was in charge of adapting speed from TBT3 to TBT.
On the other hand my satellite has the external power source.
Why do you say the rated cable is wrong ? I could´nt find the mistake yet.
The following Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt adapters have been tested for compatibility with Thunderbolt-equipped Apollo audio interfaces and UAD-2 Satellite Thunderbolt.
Note: The adapter connects between the Thunderbolt 3 USB-C port on the computer and the Thunderbolt-equipped Universal Audio product.

Hello zombee411,
Testing in single display would be using the USB-C monitor only.
Since the issue doesn’t occur with Linux, it is apparent that this is software issue with Windows.
We recommend the following testing:
